(PBG) was established in 1958 by a group of probation officers, family court judges, community ministers and residents. PBG's mission is to prevent the breakdown of families; to support, strengthen and maintain the existence of healthy families in our communities, thereby diverting children from the court system, foster care placement and other forms of institutionalization; to expedite family reunification whenever possible and to enable families to remain functional and intact. PBG offers counseling, advocacy, crisis intervention, rent assistance, transportation, and recreation.
