• Develop and organize an information resource base to provide education and understanding of the benefits of a healthy lifestyle.

• Feature in-depth information on the major diseases that are the leading causes of death for African Americans.

• Develop programs to educate and improve understanding of white and non-African American medical professionals and the cultural context of their treatment of African Americans.

• Provide scholarships to increase the stock of African American medical professionals.
